General Presentation of the English Club

ouverte à tous -élèves et professeurs- pour renseignements sur l'ouverture du club, et sur les projets du Blue Dolphin :

Here is some more information concerning the Blue Dolphin:

the club is open to ALL pupils (= ELEVES) and staff members (= équipe enseignante, ADMINISTRATIVE ET D'ENTRETIEN) of Cousteau High School, who (= qui) :

-          are FREE (= sont libres) to come whenever they like (= quand ils le veulent), during the opening hours (= pENDANT les heures d'ouverture). You will find these (= vous les trouverez) in the CDI, on the bay-window (= sur la baie vitrée) of the fish tank (= l'aquarium = "le bocal" = le club), and in the main hall (= sur le panneau du hall principal).

-          can (= peuvent) : chat (and chew gum!), do research on the Internet, read books and magazines in English, find help - not the  answers (= trouver de l'aide - pas les réponses !) for their homework in English, listen to music, have tea and cookies, play board games (= des jeux de société), use DVDs to improve (= améliorer) their English, ETC...

-          must (= doivent) speak English AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE (= autant que possible).

A workshops (= Un atelier) will be open in 2009-2010 :
- art & decoration workshop

   Remember : The aim of the game is to get better at English WHILE HAVING A GOOD TIME !
